Forty years ago, at just 17, Benjamin Hakimian left Iran and came to the United States to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Since then, he has built two companies, married, and raised a family of six children. Today, his firm, Hakimian Holdings, owns nearly 40 shopping centers and two office towers across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Under his leadership, the company has experienced exponential growth, driven by a commitment to quality over quantity and a focus on cultivating strong relationships with tenants and customers. Ben is also deeply dedicated to his community, consistently giving back through his time, brand, and influence in support of local causes.

The growth and success of Hakimian Holdings has been rooted in the deep and meaningful connections nurtured early on within the Jacksonville community. Although a passionate community advocate over the years, Hakimian Holdings became positioned to formally dedicate resources towards targeted efforts within the North Florida corridor. In 2012, Paige spearheaded and developed the Community Advancement and Development division of Hakimian Holdings. The mission is to serve communities on two fronts: 1) through innovative cultivation of the diverse resources of the Hakimian Holdings tenant base to bridge acute needs such as those experienced during the pandemic and other natural disasters and 2) to target chronic needs within the community, such as education in under-resourced neighborhoods.
Paige developed and facilitated programming to ameliorate cultural capital gaps in first generation low income college students in Jacksonville as well as at Dartmouth College. Paige holds a Bachelor’s in Criminology from the University of South Florida, a Master’s in Psychology from Harvard University and is currently a candidate for a PhD in Psychology from Regent University. Paige has successfully completed intensive professional training and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach through Wellcoaches, accredited by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. She serves as an elected Vestry representative for the St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral and on the Board of Trustees for the Episcopal Schools of Jacksonvillle. Most proudly, Paige and Ben have been married over three decades, share six children together and three grandchildren.

BLAKE HAKIMIAN
Head of Acquisitions & Finance
Prior to his current position, he served as Hakimian Holdings' Senior Vice President of Leasing for nearly six years in which he was consistently ranked “CoStar Power Broker: Top Producer in Commercial Real Estate Lease Transactions" (CoStar is an S&P 500 company). His clients included, but are not limited to, Walgreens, Pet Supermarket, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, Mattress Firm, Plato’s Closet, My Salon Suite, GameStop, Firehouse Subs, Jimmy Johns, Wingstop, Golden Corral, Southeast Orthopedics, Avecina Urgent Care, H2 Health, J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, SouthState Bank, Aegis Consulting, Girl Scouts of America, and the U.S. Armed Forces.
Prior to Hakimian Holdings, he served as a credit analyst at CenterState Bank (now SouthState Bank) analyzing the credit worthiness of commercial real estate acquisition, development, and refinance loans as well as a wide variety of corporate, government, not-for-profit, and non-profit loans. Before that, he served as an economic research analyst at CBRE authoring both commercial real estate market-level reports and individual asset reports.
He’s a double-graduate of University of Florida obtaining both a Master of Science in Real Estate concentrated in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science concentrated in Public Policy. Hakimian pursued both degrees simultaneously and in his final year he was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame for outstanding leadership and academic achievement.

CHAS LAWRENCE

Before joining Hakimian Holdings, Chas had an impressive career as a broker specializing in leasing and investment sales. Over the course of his career, he has successfully closed over $50 million in transactions, handling a diverse range of properties throughout North and Central Florida. This experience has allowed him to build a strong reputation within the commercial real estate community, developing deep relationships with clients, investors, and industry professionals.
Chas holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from Babson College, a prestigious institution known for its focus on entrepreneurship and business. His academic background, combined with his professional experience, enables him to approach real estate transactions with a strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and business development. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Chas is dedicated to staying up-to-date with market trends and continuously expanding his knowledge of the real estate industry.

RACHEL THOMPSON
Leasing Manager
Rachel oversees all matters of lease compliance, including tenant insurance, sales reporting, and document management. She also leads collections efforts, working closely with the company’s General Counsel and Controller to manage tenant accounts, legal processes, and communications. Rachel is the primary Yardi system administrator, portal manager, and file manager, ensuring efficient operations across the company’s commercial property portfolio. Her expertise in digital systems, meticulous organization, and commitment to tenant relations make her an invaluable part of the Hakimian Holdings team. When she’s not managing leases and collections, Rachel enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, and expressing her creativity through painting and sketching.

KIMBERLY FRITSCHE
Marketing Coordinator
Kimberly is a proud graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, where she pursued a double major in Criminal Justice and Art and Design. This unique combination of disciplines has allowed her to develop a diverse skill set, blending analytical thinking with creative problem-solving. Her background in art and design particularly enhances her ability to craft compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with audiences on a deeper level.
Before coming to Hakimian holdings, Kimberly spent six years working in the student and multifamily housing industry gaining valuable experience in areas such as marketing, operations, and tenant relations. This experience has shaped her ability to work in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, constantly adapting to the needs of both the business and its clients.
Her main goal is to constantly look for new ways to improve herself as a professional and mom. Kimberly spends her free time outside of work with her family, relaxing on the beach or curled up with a good book.
